My thoughts exactly. What if Kesha didn’t want people to know she got the money from Taylor Swift? Was it up to Taylor to tell everyone? No. You don’t do a favor for someone simply for the press, you do it for kindness.

I have a visceral dislike for Taylor Swift and her convenient feminism, but I’m having a hard time getting indignant over the fact that she did something that will tangibly support Kesha while she figures out where to go from here.

People show support in different ways. But it is very strange to me that Taylor would have her publicist announce that she’s giving Ke$ha money. Fine, you want to be quiet about it.. but why would you have your publicist release a statement?
