18,000 original miles, and the inflated used car market. But really, that's super low miles for the year. I'm shocked the miles are that low.

Owen, you’re a young man headed to college, so you’re going to need something that properly fits the college. If you were going to the University of Georgia, I’d tell you to get a used F-150 for tailgating and sheer redneck fun. If you were headed to UCLA, I’d recommend something with two wheels, so you can split

I’d be willing to bet it makes it here, but it won’t make it as a Toyota. We’ll get one as a Lexus, because I think Toyota has realized Americans are more than willing to pay for the Prado, we just can’t call it a Prado. The GX470 has been growing in sales volume every year since 2011, despite the fact that the J150

Is anyone else just... tired of this guy? He announces things. Often they don’t happen. Why are we treating this like it’s going to happen? You know what would be impressive? Build the Tesla Semi first. Build the Hyperloop. (Or don’t. This video explaining it is hilarious and informative.)

It would blow your mind how quickly water can erode things. Here in South Texas, we have see some fairly torrential rains for the past month, and during its peaks... this little creek basically forms about 10 feet away from my house.

You know what my takeaway was from this? More cars need un-varnished wood on the interior. Or at least a flat finish that isn’t crazy-glossy. I think I’ve seen it in some Volvos with that teak they use, but it just looks so much nicer than the glassy looking wood in other cars.

Filed under: “Fuck it. Why not?”

I could see this maybe being cool as some kind of beach-attraction for tourists in a small coastal town, but that’s about it. You repaint it with your company logo on the side, and then... maybe park it in front?

1st Gear: “China figures out the same stuff we figured out a while back, but there are fewer Elon Musk stans in China to shield Tesla from perfectly valid criticism.”

Yeah, my issue is that with my driveway and garage, I really have a two car limit, and that means both of my options need to baby. I know that it technically has four seats, but... there’s a 0% chance I’m even going to think about doing that pretzel routine.

The “driver” part of the equation is something I’m sure we’ll figure out in the next 10 years. It’s all the other things drivers do that artificial intelligence can’t do. (At least, not well.) Pulling up to a loading dock? Navigating extremely tight turns? Cleaning the inside of the trailer? Repairing the reefer?

Don’t let the MSRP scare you away from these. I’m currently looking for my next daily ride, and these are in my sights. I want a fun car that can also baby, and Stingers are an incredible value.

I love it, and I’d love to own one. If I was still single, living alone, in my mid 20s, this would be my daily, without a shadow of a doubt.

It just doesn’t move the needle for me. If I’m going to get an electric car, I want to feel like it was thoughtful and designed to be electric. As it stands, the Kia EV6 and Hyundai Ionic 5 feel like they’re more polished.

I have always wanted a Morgan. They’re just a level of “weird cool” that cannot be surpassed. If you ever see someone driving one in person, you know you’re around the type of person who really gives zero fucks, and just wants to have stupid fun.

Hi Jalops. Erin made a few small errors when she was publishing this post. It’s okay. The story is still good, and the message remains the same. She corrected those errors, because she’s a person who has some good days and some bad days.

The Cadillac Escalade. Technically, it’s the top-brand level of anything doing platform sharing, but in this case... it’s definitely the Escalade.

Even in our present “dumbass level pricing” used car market, this is insane. I mean... $15,000? I could see it. It’s low mileage, and it’s a Toyota. I trust it’ll be around for a while.

Seat to me has always been exotic, but in a “not exotic” kind of way. It’s like when you were in the 8th grade, and you met girls from another school at the mall. You can’t date a girl from another school, so you’d just wonder what might have been if you were born in a different school district.

Okay, if I got this, I’d swap in the 13B-VDEI from an FC RX-7. The naturally aspirated one, and then I’d do a very mild port. (Well, obviously... engine work first, then swap.) It’d maintain the weight of the car, and also allow you to keep the balance in order.
