not exactly sure what this root method entails but 99.9% of the time your completely safe. Most "bricking" is not bricking at all. It's usually just a noob who doesnt know how to fix the issue.

google is by far the best mapping company out there right now. Street view in my opinion is a big reason why. Until another company can catch up to google in this regard, it will probably remain the best.

well the UI is the way too similar. I can agree with that. I hate touchwiz (on a phone at least), definitely looks like a cheap iOS imitation. Im not exactly sure what touchwiz looks like on the galaxy tab. the hardware is what i was talking about.
