Eh, Charles wasn’t so bad looking in his prime, and given the standard TV star portrayal upgrade I’d expected someone of West’s level of handsomeness. My issue with West is more that he...just doesn’t look very much like Charles, especially compared to Josh O’Connor.

You’re right, Dylan was the only one. The Jewish of New York don’t typically get involved in the entertainment business.

VIctim: what time are we meeting 🤝

That’s the face of a man who has definitely tied Polly Pureheart to the railroad tracks at least once.

Better hold on to those donut receipts, people. Hold onto them forever.

I like when South Park satirizes the beliefs of others.

Caesar and Buster Scruggs are both almost total misses, imo, but Inside Llewyn Davis is one of the best films of the decade and probably one of their best ever. so, on the whole, they’re still in the plus column for me - they’ve always had pretty weak projects scattered inbetween absolute masterpieces

I imagine Damon Herriman is most familiar to Americans (certainly to me) from Justified where he was fantastic, but I only just learned recently he’s in that FX show Mr. Inbetween that seems to be one of those that’s just, you know, there and was never promoted by the network and is really under the radar— which

That’s sexual assault.

That header pic looks like Mike Love.

You...sound...uh...

Oh my goodness. Everyone knows it’s Ants-Mans.

When did Hollywood decide that adding or subtracting a “The” was sufficient to distinguish between movies, even if they came out only a few years apart and feature overlap in casts? Anyway, I hope you all buy the debut album from my band, Beatles.

That’s fair. Maybe I just side with 5'3" Lucy Liu vs. Hollywood royalty (i.e., extremely powerful), 6'2" Bill Murray. I really wish I could say physically attacking someone for being a dick is bullshit, but it really wouldn’t be honest. Not a classy move on either person’s part, but somehow I can see her reaction as

Honestly “Inside No. 9" was the best anthology series of the past decade and it’s a shame that Black Mirror has gotten more attention. It’s fairly popular in Britain but I have a hard time finding anyone in the States who has heard of it. The first two seasons are streaming on Hulu and the whole series is available to

There’s also Kill List from some years back that’s a pretty bitchin’ and harrowing take on Arthurian lore.

First, it’s just a leftist way of marginalization similar to how racist treat ethnic names.

Who is being marginalized by making fun of “Cricket?” Rich white ladies? Are they an oppressed minority now?

I would love to hear Fox News rail against this cancel culture moment.

This... I like this comment. I didn’t wanna, but I can’t help it.
