Oh great, a whole article on Star Wars hate.

Good luck getting past the USAJobs resume builder!

My favorite medical treatment story is the treatment of scurvy. Scurvy was really bad in the 1400s and was a leading cause of death of sailors. In fact, in 1497 one ship had a crew of 160 and 100 died of scurvy.

So how did science lose out here? From my read, it seems like both cures were fake and no science was involved.

The byproducts of perfect combustion of pure hydrocarbons are water and CO2. Imperfect combustion and all the other crap in coal lead to CO and such, but there is still water vapor in there. So the steam is the hot water vapor hitting the cold air and condensing.

Uh, no.

No. That’s mostly condensate because it’s cold. Yes, there is other stuff in there, but it wouldn’t look like that if it was warm. I drive by two gas turbine power plants every day (and I’ve worked power plants my entire adult life). In the winter, they look exactly like these pictures. In the summer, whatever is

As a Christian myself, I entirely agree. None are above reproach.

This smoke looks an awful lot like steam.

It doesn’t cease to amaze me how diligently Gawker defends Islam, whilst at every turn available, mocks and disparages Christianity.

I see nothing wrong whatsoever with being anti-Islam, so long as you aren’t anti-Muslim.

Sorry, but you’re way off base.

All religions are fundamentally different from one another. Even though the two most notable are both derived from Judaism, and thus carry with them certain similarities that only incestuous cousins can, to think that somehow all religions are on equal footing is a preposterous notion.

If they profiled Pam Geller, you’d probably have a point. But just because Hirsi Ali’s opinions are controversial doesn’t make her an “anti-Islam advocate,”she is calling for reform, not banning the religion.

political correctness has evolved to such an extreme that now we discredit people and their life experiences.

How is it alarming to recognize someone who seems to be accurately speaking from direct experience? Isn’t there some balance between Islamophobia and Islamophilia, where true offenses need to be glossed over with political correctness? It’s certainly too huge a population to be painted with the same brush, but that

This writer should really stick to iPad reviews...

I agree with some of the sentiments of this article. I believe that history shows that Islam can be a religion of peace, and there are still very many examples of this right now. Nevertheless, I think it is perfectly acceptable for the State Department to highlight his woman and her accomplishments. Her own history
