It the extra mid-credits scenes are used for more Howard the Duck-style goofy jokes and cameos, then I'm all for it.

It definitely isn't very subtle, but of course "blunt" isn't the same as "exploitative".

Is that a Rick and Morty quote too?

"The forced pathos of his mother’s death at the beginning of the first Guardians movie felt borderline exploitative, so it’s to the game’s credit that it develops their relationship into one with actual depth."

Existence is pain to a Meeseeks, Jerry! And we will do anything to alleviate that pain!

LOOK AT ME!

Not surprised by this. When Gunn first committed to two movies, he hadn't made one movie yet, let alone two. At this point, I'm sure he feels a lot of love and creative ownership over these characters, and what they are.

It's okay, it's only Fart Cloud Galactus, from Rise of the Silver Surfer.

Well, congratulations to this guy for martyring himself, for… nothing? For getting some cryptic bullshit into a comic book?

“I’m not actually writing this book to discuss my work, my opinions, or my life. I’m not writing it to explain some of the painful situations I’ve either landed in or thrown myself into. I’m writing it because I was paid to write it.”

Never been a huge fan of Deadpool comics, but I'll gladly admit that the Posehn run was great.

Maybe I'm crazy, but Smackdown came out of the "shake up" with a far stronger roster. Nakamura, Zayn, Owens, and Styles? Yes please. Charlotte and Becky? Yes please. A tag division with a third actual, legitimately "over" tag team? Yes please. Another well-liked mid carder, in Tye Dillinger? Yes please.

I appreciate you dunking on me there, but my intention was to correct Cartagia based on what I'd heard, not make a value judgment on what they "had to do".

I think "Look man, they did a business" is going to be my new go-to line, when discussing corporate malfeasance.

How the man was removed should be subject to an investigation immediately. He had a head wound for fucks sake.

This is true.

I read the offer was $1000, and there was only one taker, so they had to remove three people involuntarily.

I can only assume the need to stuff these additional employees on the flight wasn't told to them until after boarding?

Overbooking flights is standard practice for airlines. So much so, that they have compensation rules set out by law, and written into the agreement you accept when you buy a ticket.

His interview with Cole immediately pissed me off, because it became crystal clear that the company still believes he's their alpha babyface going forward. When did Vince become so unperceptive about his own audience? Has Roman ever sold a single network subscription, or popped a single rating, in his current
