I don't think it'll be Marvel Studios that bring it down - it'll be the other studios rushing out garbage to try and ride the wave they created, before it comes in to shore.

The cave scene was confusing (probably because of other scenes that got cut), but it was also, like, two minutes long. If Feige wanted to keep it in as a quick tease to whatever happens in Thor 3, then it's not a massive deal.

Make it R-rated, make it dark, and make him an anti-hero to the point of nearly being a villain. Then have him be the "bad guy" in a Captain America movie, because of his outlook and methods.

WHY DIDN'T THEY CONSIDER BILL PAXTON FOR THE ROLE HE HAD IN THE ORIGINAL?

I will forever have the main menu song for GTA 1 etched onto my brain.

"Avengers: Age Of Ultron accounted for a whopping 85 percent of the money earned by the box-office top 12 these last three days. In fact, you could add up the weekend earnings of the next 11 grossers on the chart—you know, the films that don’t feature Nazi barons with monocles—and you wouldn’t account for a fifth of

That would make more sense - if it simply draws out his death, rather than making it an insta-kill.

Ahh, gotcha. A misunderstanding on my part!

Yeah, I think she wanted to have sex so she could birth another one of those shadow things.

If he really is dead, it was a bizarre decision to throw in a shot of Grey Worm "saving" him… when he isn't.

Not only that, but if he wasn't obsessed with getting a verbal confession, he would have won.

OH, and giving credit to the show for removing Grey Worm's helmet early in the fight, is kind of odd. That's a pretty standard movie thing - One of the first things they did with Captain America during the final battle in the first Avengers, was have the aliens tear off his derpy looking helmet.

- That shot with Grey Worm thrashing around on one knee with the spear, reminded me of the similar scene from The Last Samurai

The film was pretty clearly a victim of tons of editing for time - I'll be interested to see the expanded cut on the DVD.

I actually agree with him that the lack of surprise in future movie reveals has kind of been a bummer. Having films plotted out for the next 5-6 years, kind of sucks the joy out of it.

It was like most Whedon films - some flabby plotting issues, but otherwise a lot of fun, with some great nerd moments.

Couldn't disagree more, and I liked Furious 7. The Whedon-isms gots tons of big laughs in the theatre I was in, and remain fun.

A "nebulous bum"? I don't even understand what that criticism means. Thanos has appeared for all of five minutes combined in the MCU, and has clearly had some powerful forces working on his behalf so far;

What Stark did was just as reactionary - he builds an AI (with good intentions) that goes nuts, and then everything past that is as much a "reaction" as Superman in Man of Steel.

Way more likely the producers just didn't give a shit who played who in the original movie, except for the major characters.
