How about Rollo and Lagertha? Was he really willing to let anyone and everyone die, simply to tear Floki down?

I figured he was wearing it more so he could hide his sniveling cowardice.

Oh, and what's the deal with Porunn? They've kind of ruined her character.

I didn't get the same sense of omniscience in Ragnar's concluding monologue, though I admit that I don't know what else his "agenda" could be referring to, except some sense that he knew exactly how the entire siege would play out.

Except FDR was a real, historic person, and Peter Parker isn't.

Not surprised at all. Miles Morales would have been a cool choice for current fans of the comics, but he just doesn't have that widespread general recognition that Peter Parker has. This was just never seriously in question, to me.

I loved everything up to it, but I think I only "kinda liked" the last episode As soon as the new you-know-what is introduced in the final third, the music and action kind of changes to traditional, triumphant comic booky stuff.

Eh, they are pretty hard to compare. The MCU movies are all about "popcorn" action and grand spectacle, whereas Daredevil is telling a much smaller story.

The only cold open I didn't like, was actually this episode - where Matt stirs to life in the dumpster just long enough to pull up his mask for no reason, so everyone in the audience with an IQ of 30 can see his face and go "OMG ITS TEH DAREDEVIL I MUST SEE WHAT HAPPENS NEXT".

A live-action Batman series with a "prestige show" budget on Netflix or HBO would be AMAZING.

Dawson is playing a character from the comics called "Night Nurse". They could make her a doctor, but it'd stand to reason that she'd possibly have some experience with emergency triage and stuff, as a nurse.

I expected there to be some reveal after more drinking that none of those people were who Foggy said they were, but Karen would still appreciate what he was trying to do.

How could you be down on the Marvel films after 2014? The year even Fox got their X-Men movie right, along with Winter Soldier and Guardians - two of the best Marvel Studios pictures to date. Last year was a banner year for films based on Marvel properties (and if you ignore Agents of SHIELD sucking for most of it's

I believe you mean "I HAVE GOT TO GET ME ONE OF THESE!".

I've never understood the "FREE POLANSKI" movement among actors and directors, and am inevitably disappointed every time I see a list of names supporting him.

Why do they keep putting Jai Courtney in stuff? He's the least interesting actor in Hollywood.

Not so much that I want to be inundated with commercials (seriously, the avalanche of Avengers 2 stuff has been way too much), but that the complete lack of anything but that first teaser trailer has me worried that the studio isn't keen on what they've seen.

I really hope Ant-Man is good, but the complete lack of hype or media about it, plus the seemingly troubled development, has me worried. I'm hoping that's just because they want to focus on Avengers 2 right now, then ramp it up after.

Good review, though the less enthusiastic response seems to fly in the face of pretty much all of the other reviews I've read so far.

Two things I hope they fix from Human Revolution, in the next game:
