I mean, truthfully, most children are awful and ethics grow in pretty late. People in their 20s and 30s often dramatically change their handling of moral dilemmas. I’m for the benefit of the doubt.

Talk about being on team nobody. Christian Walker is an insane contrarian on the level of Kanye West and Candace Whatshername (also those Ruby and Satin chicks, or whatever they go by). Didn’t we just see him go all MAGA nuts on Kehlani at a Starbucks like a month ago? I thought his Twitter feed was all about him

Right so the GOP thinks the son is “deeply disturbed” and this is how they choose to treat someone they believe s mentally ill? Blaming him and throwing him under the bus for the GOP’s failings is hardly going to help him get better.

I’m assuming that it’s referring to the key line that Snape says about Harry’s mother (“Always”), but I don’t think that qualifies it as a pun.

“Always” is Snape’s line in the last book and movie that communicates that he loved Harry’s mother and always will. It’s super famous in Harry Potter fandom.

Hey Spider! I gotta headline for ya: alliteration’s awful!

I wouldn’t Grantham parole either.

Honestly I think Cyberpunk is gonna take AOTY.  Still thinking about that ending.

Congressman Short-Eyes has a nerve saying that somebody else looks like a thumb. And I think I know where all the hair product in Florida went too.

Gaetz said “he did not do anything wrong but they are trying to make his life hell, and you know, if the president could give him a pardon, that would be great.”

*tenet*

You’re not wrong. I think we have to be raised out of it; my folks did that work, but this woman’s folks took her to a Texas church instead. Dogma is one shitty substitute for empathy.

At this point I’ve just accepted it as a basic tenant of being human

Maybe. But I think she represents that ugly contingent of people who are quite happy for things to be criminalized for other people so long as they can buy their way out of the law. I have a feeling if she’d had the money to buy a safe, illegal abortion in Texas, hell, she would have done that instead of driving ten

“How could you be so cruel as to pass a law that you know will hurt women and that you know will cause babies to be born in pain?” she said. “How is that humane? How is that saving anybody?”

The tone of this entire article is disgusting.

to everyone wondering where our post was: this was it. it took a while assembling all the responses from current and former kotaku dot com staffers but all that time gave us the room to honor fahey in the best way we knew how. i didn’t get to work with him long but his personality and wit were infectious. im bummed

There’s is no one proper way to grieve, Mike would want us to forgive ourselves and have fun. Your honesty is refreshing!

Thanks for this. I know folks have been hard on you guys for not posting, selfishly I was one of them. If it’s any consolation, it’s because his work touched so many people throughout the years. He was so visceral about his life and his health, that his death provoked a similar reaction in many of his fans. Mike was

Every time I deal with a spider I think about the copy of Plants vs Zombies that ended up stuck on Fahey’s office ceiling and wonder if it’s still there.
