My main complaint with American-style ham is the lack of fat. The cuts used to make the stuff have so little fat, and the water added during processing paradoxically make for a dry and rough mouthfeel.

It’s pounds, as Quasar Funk pointed out. NASS reports that for December, average US cheese prices were $1.37 / lb, so 1.4 billion = $1.92 billion of cheese in cold storage.

What do you mean

So many “Why?!”s in such a short gif.

After I read “3 years” all I could see was red.

On the whole I agree with yours (and others’) assessments of racism in Japan in general, but I feel the need to voice my anecdotal experience from a few weeks ago.

I wish I could give you more stars for your Milk and Cheese profile pic.

Counterpoint:

Thanks for that quote! People be people, in any era.

This whole thing would be way more understandable if the “outrage” came from a place of sincerity

Have some sympathy. It must be hard waking up and being told that without their privilege they’d lose whatever mediocrity they hold onto now.

Hmm, read the phrase “forcing himself on adult women who knew what they were getting into” again.

*Shivers* Yes.

‘The left created this culture of outrage’ - no, we didn’t.

he does the same stupid gestures to tons of people,

Gaslighting is all they have got. Hence the focus on the Twitter-verse, (I refuse to unhyphenate that) a platform practically designed to take things out of context.

I just read about Harmon’s “Daryl” today.

We can’t give into outrage exhaustion. Trifling BS like this article (and this) give me the strength to face another day in Trumpland.

Better to be the fool of the king than the king of the fools.

I’m with you on space being scarier.... but it’s an existential dread type scare from considering the Fermi Paradox.
