Airplane references will always win.

Is this an ironic White Knight comment?

I call bullshit! It was Alone in the Dark and Capcom knows it. They can deny it all they want but they are lying to you and themselves.

I can't see how a 40-hour training class where officers are forced to use Kinect doesn't result in random citizens being beaten with sticks.

What if the camera is in the helmet?

Yeah dude. Books and movies are bad at story ownership. Totally NOT powerful. Videogames are better because they're mechanical! What am I gonna do to a book? Turn a bunch of more pages? What can I do to a movie? Like maybe pause it or whatever. Lame. Videogames, though: Mad possibilites, yo. Push Y to look. Push X to

fuck that. the opening credits are great. listen to the dvd commentary for the first few episodes

go play mobile games instead and leave PC gaming to gamers

You managed to exaggerate about 4 things in 7 words.

I liked it too, but more for a hilarious moment where you first have to throw the explosive and shoot it with the gun.

Am I the only one who thought the last Alone In The Dark wasn't that bad? I like that it was trying to mix things up.

You know...I actually have a bit of a soft spot for the 2008 Alone in the Dark.

Don't get me wrong; it was NOT a good game. Worse yet, it took the weird mythology of the series and made it markedly dumber.

But for all that, it had some ideas that were interesting and ambitious in theory, even if they were cumbersome in

While alone in the Dark 5 was bad is not as bad as people make it out to be. Its better than RE6 for example and its imo also better than watch dogs (best example of how high production values doesn't automatically make a good game).

Wow. Those graphics/character animations look like... shit. This trailer doesn't make me interested at all.

We need to coin the term perma-exclusive.

You can find it on GOG, it's included in the Battle Isle Platinum package! It has even the fabulous Expansion pack "The Wilderness Missions" included.

Run's like a charm on my Windows 8. I even managed to use a Glide Wrapper to active the 3dfx Mode. Wohoo, Voodoo Hardware Acceleration, no Software Mode for me! :D

It's great to see quite a few of the classic LucasArts and Sierra adventure games on this list. Loom was quite a fun little game when I was kid and it helped further my enjoyment of classical music. The soundtrack is all arrangements of public domains classical compositions.

Loom was one of the first games I played through as a kid. I loved it.

The game is available on Steam, although I believe it is the CD-ROM version, which was heavily edited (read: shortened) to support the spoken dialogue. The diskette based versions had much more dialogue options and a few extra scenes. Either way thought, it is well worth playing!
