Bioshock is a great example. It was a terrible game gameplay wise. The fact that they are saying how well did it accomplish conveying the non gameplay factors shows that even the critique of reviewers isnt targeting the right criteria.

It is currently flawed. Game reviews are so intent on getting respect from a broader community that they forget they are reviewing games. I've seen too many shitty games graded well because of presentation and not gameplay, or because of "What it was trying to do with the story."

I forgot this game was released this year. This is a great game and give Last of Us a run for the money. However, due to the fact that it's not a new IP I think The Last of Us still trumps it.

I love this game but had forgotten about it. Certainly I'd give Last of Us GotY over this but this one deserves runner up.

Gameplay in this title was pretty bad despite how pretty the game was and how enchanting the universe is. Gameplay is king though so no way is this GoTY.
