I count having to blow into cartirdges after a few years a serious design flaw. Not as quick as RROD, but way more widespread.

I bet it had something to do with the spotty network availability while installing the Day 1 patch. That's what's probably killed them.

Since I would like to see consoles go away and PC gaming take over I fully support this concept. That's what would happen if no one bought at launch, no one would make games for it, and in 1 gen you would kill the entire hardware division.

Seriously though the Wii U really is basically a Wii with a tablet, I mean even to non gamers they will see it has the same games, basically looks the same, etc etc..

It's not entitled to expect a service to work that you paid for. I can't believe people have been convinced they should be happy buying things that don't do what are promised.

I've strapped computers and monitors and guitars in but I don't know why you'd strap in something thats already in a shipping container.

Nintendo's original plans for the DS were not as a primary gaming handheld in fact when the DS wasn't doing that well Nintendo announced that there would be a follow up to the GBA which would be gaming focused. Then sales took off and that announcement never materialized.
