I tried really hard to like Ni No Kuni as well but just didn't like it much. The oddly placed save points that caused me to redo epic battles again after shutdown was the final straw.

It's not really that adult. I mean it has adult themes and that's about it. It's appeal is that it's funny and a good adventure game.

Just got a Beta preview of Jane Jensen's new Kickstarter game Moebius and I'm happy to report it's looking fantastic. It has the look and feel of a big studio project. The engine is quite nice and the voice acting is top notch. I'm really looking forward to playing this when it's completed.
