I think you will see just how important the opinion of that one percent is when the Xbone launches. The caretakers of the gaming garden hold much sway over the visitors to it.

I agree, maybe that's true for him because he lived quite a while no doubt before the joystick appeared. But to everyone born with a joystick in their hand it is transparent and doesn't effect the immersion or connection to a game.

I love this series and I hated Liberation, could not even force myself to finish it. Terrible game.

Anyone stupid enough to pay to test an Alpha deserves the opportunity to do so.

Well I'm sorry you feel that way but being born doesn't guarantee you entry into exclusive clubs.

I have a job and do all the things you mentioned and because I'm a hardcore gamer I still find time to play games as well.

That's not really cool to put down gaming because you don't like it as much as someone else. Is it ok to say music is my life, but not gaming? I don't see why someone who enjoys games that much needs to be criticized as infantile.

Should we Also get rid of the terms cinefile and foodie, and all such terms that describe someone who's more into something than people who casually enjoy the same things?

Wow I'm impressed! The gamepad interface is almost as good as the old button method.

What the frock is she wearing? and those shoes and that dress, geez.

You must think I'm a joke! I ain't gonna be part of your DRM system.

Steam has sales because the market has competition. With MS controlling the only distribution channel the only way games will have sales is if publishers take the cut. Digital distribution plus DRM doesn't equal sales. Only competition creates a healthy environment capable of that.

You are correct sir, I missed what the expression was all about an only chose to recognize the mechanics of the act involved. Thanks, I like that definition better.

Well I'd have to say even though I personally find the Call of Duty dog to be a good idea. I don't find it ground breaking, but it's implications are certainly more interesting than anything Nintendo showed, no matter how little it might end up being.

day-us-ex is the correct pronuncation. It Latin. It's part of the expression Deus Ex Machina (God from a machine). It was used to describe when in plays machinery was used to make people portraying gods fly.
