Lmao you’ve really built up an elaborate fantasy justification for clear failures within Tesla

You know who else liked to hang out with prostitutes? Jesus. Why do you hate Jesus?
It really is a shame. I’m not a brand snob, but quality issues aside (which I know is a big ask) it would be nice to be able to look at a Tesla side-by-side with the competition. But nah, I’m out.
We’ve been due for a correction of some sort. Gas can’t stay “cheap” (~2-3/gallon) forever. I can’t believe people just kept buying all the cars and SUVs as if gas was going to be the same price as milk for the next 10 years.
“We already do. They don’t pay road tax. They get huge government subsidies. If your tech needs THAT much encouragement, your tech sucks.”
(glances over at the oil industry)
The purpose of these joke bills is to draw attention to themselves. Better off ignoring them, like one would do with a 3 year old having a tantrum.
Hence why whenever someone likes to roll out the mythbusters video on shopping queues or loading an airplane, I immediately remind them people are also selfish and will fight the system.
Republican made changes without thinking about unintended consequences.
I want to let Clarence Thomas know that if he really hates it so much, he can quit. Feel free, dude.
They said “A WINDFALL PROFITS TAX WOULD BE GOOD....OH WAIT: THAT WOULD MEAN THE CRIMINAL AND CORRUPT REPUBLICANS, ESPECIALLY THE DONALD-GROVELERS IN THE SENATE, WOULD DO THE RIGHT THING AND TURN THE TAX INTO LAW. BUT IF THERE’S ONE THING THOSE LYING MONSTERS HAVE PROVEN, DOING THE RIGHT THING IS IMPOSSIBLE FORE THEM.”
And Apple could probably make the same case for their proprietary charging ports and cables but that’s not stopping the EU from putting their foot down and saying “look, one standard for everything so we can stop with all the waste”.
It’s OK to make manufacturers uncomfortable and force them to a standard.
I’ll add ... “In traffic, if I have a green light but leave the intersection open to prevent possible grid-lock, don’t be a dick and turn right into that space.” OMG this infuriates me more than just about anything while driving.
Does anyone expect most things they purchase will retain their value? A better slide show would be about things that you can expect to appreciate or maintain value.
I leave “stopping distance” - if you insert your car into that stopping distance - YOU are an asshole.
That’s just going to be true in any time-shifted model
I have this exact feeling. And I’ve ruined TV/movies for myself by forcing myself to watch them when I wasn’t in the mood to, just to avoid spoilers, knowing that I would have enjoyed them properly if I wasn’t rushed.
I like watching one a day, but glad I have the option to watch more than one a day if time permits. It’s pretty cool being an adult with some semblance of self control, isn’t it?
Yeah, I’m doing that with Kenobi because I have Disney burnout. The problem is I’ve had absolutely everything spoiled, because no one cares if they do that with a weekly show, they expect you to be up to date. Whereas I’m only up to episode 3 of Stranger Things, and the only thing I saw ahead of time was a BTS photo…
Counterpoint: I feel extremely stressed out having to keep up to date with Marvel and Star Wars every week, and I’m glad I don’t have Stranger Things on top of it.
I often do exactly that but I greatly prefer it when all the episodes are released at once so I can watch them all in one or two days when I have time.
