No. That’s not how inflation works. One company can’t drive inflation alone. If Amazon is large enough to drive all of inflation, then objectively, they are a large enough monopoly they are therefore legally required to be broken up.

Fun bit of fact about that.... profit margins are going up. Not profits. That’s going to happen in inflationary times. Profit margins are going on. Not only are companies raising prices to account for inflation, they’re raising them more so they make a bit more profit adjusted for inflation. What are the Democrats

It was also 12 years ago.

Infecting co-workers with communicable diseases should be a OSHA reportable offense. Harsh? Sure, but that’s the only way you shut this shit down. ‘Culture’ shouldn’t be your shield from dangerous behavior (and potentially deadly as thousands die from the flue every year).

I’ve been working professionally a long time now. The number of assholes that show up to work with “just allergies” when they really have the flu is likely enough to significantly drop the GDP each year.

I’ll be straight up honest.... I’ve said many times on Jalopnik that HD should just go away. It was putting out antiquated, expensive, and frankly boring products under the hope that the HD image would be all you’d ever need to make billions. On top of that, the brand attracts some of the worst of the motorcycle

The 13 year old me would be disgusted at how indifferent I am about what’s essentially a D&D-esque fantasy show.

Whatever Matt.  All I know is that whatever you know about women can be summed up by the fact you paid for sex with underaged girls.

The only good outcome from this is that it might change the November 8th math.  That’s about it.

Hey, you made the stupid ass rule, not me. Apparently if there is a situation in which someone ONCE got killed doing a thing, you’re 100% justified in assuming it will happen EVERY time and behave accordingly.

As he walked up to the car, the driver SHOT HIM.

Nah. Not really. Nobody prefers theatrics over change.

Hey! The Democrats have been alienating the working class vote for the last 45 years! Why buck tradition?

I’ve never understood the logic of why the tax payers get to make a not inconsiderable profit off of loaning money to other tax payers.... who then, on average, end up paying more in taxes.  It’s a double whammy.

I’ve been lead to believe by other posters on Jezebel that unless the President can 100% guarantee they can get a law passed on an issue, the President has a sworn duty to never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever raise, address, or speak about that issue in on the off chance some random voter might not vote Democrat some

Sounds like some dealerships need to be saving 6 months of operating budgets, including tax payments, in case of a ‘rainy day’.  In emergency situations, 12 months is more appropriate.  Not sure why their poor business decisions are tax payer’s problems to solve.

Here’s the angle I’m curious about.... if she is so pro-baby, will she support 100% tax payer funded health care for the mother and the baby through at least adoption? Because being forced to carry a baby to term AND get stuck with thousands in medical bills is just government dictatorship picking winners and losers

Negligible loss over years. I mean if you’re talking 30+ years in the future in a then ‘classic car’ scenario, sure, maybe change it. Think of them kinda like catalytic converters, but on cars they last even longer.

Sooo.... negligible outside of dick measuring contests then.  That’s a 0-60 time difference of about .7 seconds (comparing 2020 Shelby GT 0-60 for Euro - 4.3s - and US - 3.6s).  Seems perfectly reasonable loss for, you know, making it so we can literally all breath a little easier.

If it isn’t a Ranger, they’ve really missed a naming opportunity...
