While I wouldn’t call Innocence a “great” U2 Album I do think it is pretty solid. Especially for a band that far into their career. I think Pop is the better fit for this list. I think it is droning, bad, overlong, and a complete misfire. Although Experience is pretty bad too. No Line on the Horizon is just dull, but

I was mildly entertained by Ahsoka. So far it feels very mid-tier Star Wars show. But it has enough to keep me wanting more, for now.

You’re not wrong. I once visited family in Alabama in the middle of October and it was a bit odd to be in shorts, very hot and seeing Halloween decor.

Are we not counting Keaton’s Batman in The Flash as a joke?

Yes the Lorna Doones are the ones to get if available.

Congratulations Internet! You finally made a dumb meme a box office reality, fulfilling the promise of Mother Fucking Snakes on Mother Fucking Planes.

I’m a fan of Pumpkin Beers, but the idea of having one in the sweltering dog days of Summer does not entice me.

I read the first book, but I can’t remember a single thing about it. My Goodreads review mentions typos, inconsistencies and a lack of action. Considering my backlog of books I doubt I will get to this. A shame as the original Chronicles were my jam. (30 or so years ago)

I watched the show with my young daughters on Disney+ a year or so back, and man it is dire. I think we made it through half a season before we moved on.

Can you cite some sources for that?

Except that Chet’s mother is Rita Wilson, not Samantha Lewes. Maybe Rita Wilson is the bad parent, which would explain why Colin is okay and Chet is not

Considering his reputation I seriously call into question the Modern Lovers take.

Isn’t Thunder Road: Vendetta a Board Game?

I’m with you. “Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me” is also special to me. Mostly because it was my first Cure album, but also because as you say, so many different styles of songs to be found one after the other.

It’s a list, so usual quibbles aside about ranking, missing songs, my own order etc.,

Yes, for Kate Peirson reasons, but I would submit “Me in Honey” instead.

The heart wants what the heart wants.

“Ooh baby. You lookin like you like to save money on groceries. Let’s go fill each other’s baskets.”

I watched Rattle and Hum many years after the it’s release. And while pretentious Bono is at his peak here, I think the knowledge that U2 has been taking down many pegs over the years makes it less annoying somehow.
