Now that they own Fox, they should “reality-warp” her history to show that her Brother Quicksilver was actually the X-Men movies version of Quicksilver (the best part of the First Class and Beyond X-Movies) and not the lame Quicksilver from Age of Ultron.

Yes. I think Peter is that nerd, and that is why everybody picks on him.

YES. Exactly right.

Legends is a good idea. I remember literally nothing about Scarlet Witch and Vision from the movies. They were probably the least interesting aspects of the MCU. And yet, WandaVision has had me intrigued from the first Trailer and I’m very much looking forward to it. A quick refresher is just the thing this casual fan

Yeah, while anecdotally I’m sure the writer’s experiences are real, but they weren’t for others. Personally, I liked nerdy things in High School (comics, D&D, etc.) But I don’t think I was a nerd per se. Mostly because I was mostly shy, kept quiet, and didn’t stick out with bad fashion sense. But there were nerds that

Oh man, that Yoda fight scene. My theater erupted into cheers and I just sat there looking incredulously at it. By then that terrible movie had beaten me up with how bad it was. I had just watched the “love story” between Anakin and Padme, The gladiator fight with silly monsters, 3-PO with his head on a battle droid,

So like, is there a job posting site for these ANTIFA gigs? Is it lucrative? Does one need experience or are these entry level postions? What are the benefits? Is a college degree required?

He was on twice thought right? Plus he was played by Danny Devito. Hefty price tag maybe?

Former AV Club writer Nathan Rabin recently did a write-up of Santa’s Slay over at his Happy Place. Go check it out!

I have the same feeling with Animal Crossing. My daughter loves it, she loves collecting things, selling them, buying new things, etc. Whereas I walk around a bit, do a few of those things, then say “What else?”

I agree with you that “Fairytale of New York” is to Christmas music as Die Hard is to Christmas movies. In that both are so good that they can be enjoyed all year long, rather than just at the Holidays.

Casper Babypants. My kid loved him, and honestly his children’s albums weren’t total madness for adult ears. I was shocked when I found out he was a POTUSA.

I think Die Hard is a Christmas move, but if you want to watch it in April, or June, or September , by all means do it. Enjoy the film. It is a one of the greatest action movies of all time.

As I said, there are good bits I just don’t think there are enough of them to justify going back. I did like Keith David, and Paget Brewster, and I wish they had been around longer, but I just don’t think the genius is there anymore. To be honest the last season made me very sad and how far the show had fallen.

I fianlly binged al of Community this year as well. And while the first 3 seasons are Brilliant, once Harmon is let go it turns pretty bad. Even the seasons where he came back the good bits are few and far between. Losing cast memebers didn’t help either.

That episode was beautiful, and sad, and well made. Just brilliant.

I applaud that you SUSTAINED the gimmick.

You son of a bitch, you made me listen to this and it was terrible.

I don’t know, Gilliam did Time Bandits, a film I sure as hell loved as a kid.

Logan was so off-putting to me because it came from this PG-13 X-Men world and went Hard R with excessive violence and swearing. It was weird in my head connecting it to the X-Men franchise which admittedly I only consider the Original, X2 and Maybe The Wolverine.
