Batman was huge, and this article really gets into that.

Yeah, sorry, I shouldn’t have given you shit. We’ve been programmed to quick scroll and react.

Yeah, when I saw this making the rounds I thought I had heard it before. Then when I, y’know, read the whole article here I saw that it was mentioned that this is nearly the same story as 10 years ago, just a little more detail on the homophobic comment.

They could have really raised people’s hackles and gone with Lady Antifa.

Brave is one of my daughter’s favorite movies. She even dressed like Merida for Halloween in 2013. So i’ll always have a soft spot for it.

And for me, I think it’s a great story as well. I have a fondness for Medieval settings, standing stones, will’o wisps and magic. So I do have a bit of a bias.

My High School girlfriend and I watched this movie a number of times in the mid-90's. It really is a beautiful feel-good movie, that’s funny to boot.

I love The 1975. I listen to “Sex” so much, it’s one of my favorite songs ever. I love that they can jump styles and still sound wonderful no matter what it is.

Disney+ should just roll out the dumptruck of money to Glover’s house to get the Young Lando series going.

It’s because we are in the car and I want to listen to something else. Because I am trying to impart the lesson of not always getting what you want, and by introducing them to new music they might expand what they like. Thereby getting them something they need. It’s the Rolling Stones method.

I get that, and I can tell you that I’ve heard the Aladdin and Moana soundtrack more times then I can count. But when I’ve had enough we don’t listen to it anymore. The tears eventually stop.

I always hear (read) these stories about kids and how they just want to watch (or listen) to something over and over again, and either my kids are weird outliers who don’t have that instinct, or I am the weird outlier that doesn’t let their kids do stuff over and over again.

The local movie theater in my town used to play the Top Gun soundtrack over the theater speakers before the trailers started. I have to admit, it’s all kinds of 80' awesome. At the time I thought the love song “Take My Breath Away” was the low light, but today I realize what a great song it is. 80's cheese yeah but I

But doesn’t Daniel-San stop the beatdown because he realizes it is not the way? And then the bad guy with no honor attacks Daniel-San while his back is turned only to be taken down by Mr. Miyagi?

Much like The Princess Bride this is a very slight film. But it breezes by on it’s charm. If I grew up with this movie I would love it more than I currently do.

I watched a few epsiodes of Mystery Inc. and I found the Cold Opens to be very enjoyable. They gave off an X-Files, Monster of the Week vibe to me. Sadly my daughter never got into that version of Scooby-Doo.

I may or may not have ever seen this movie. If I did I thought it was crap. But, I did own the Soundtrack. It was a weird birthday gift from my father. That soundtrack. It was the best.

I love Neil Gaiman (Currently rereading The Sandman) but it always upset me that he divorced his first wife. I know nothing of the relationship, nothing of how it affected their family. But I based judgement on him based on my own personal experience of our dad leaving our family when I was growing up. Basically I

In this case kill him before he kills you.

With today’s technology we can create “children” characters full-cloth and have them played by Andy Serkis. Or, we could create CGI versions of past child actors in new roles. Bring back Shirley Temple! Bring back Judy Garland! Or we could Marvel Studios De-Age them. Lindsay Lohan as a child again! There’s young

I randomly caught Quick Change on HBO when I was a kid (Tween?) and I’ve loved it ever since.
Bill Murray at his deadpan best, Geena Davis at peak Geena Davis (Is she ever not at peak?) Pre-crazy Randy Quaid. (Still with a bit of crazy) The always reliable Jason Robards. Cameos from Phit Hartman, Bob Elliot, Stanley
