It was very similar to their first album. I liked it well enough at the time, but I don’t listen to either anymore.

Zing? You got any good ones from 2007 to recommend? Because the ones listed above aren’t doing it for me.
Of my own collection it appears that 2007 was a poor year for music I like. Very few of the albums I listened to back then I listen to now. Such as The Shins “Wincing the Night Away” or Kaiser Chiefs “Yours Truly Angry Mob” or The Arctic Monkeys “Favourite Worst Nightmare” or The Hives “Black and White Album” or…
I discovered The Cribs, and that album a few years later. It really is quite good. They were never as good again, even if Johnny Freaking Marr on that one album.
Yeah, it starts off dark and twisted and then goes even farther in the last third. I see your point about it being exploitation.
I am laughing at the thought of the Waitress bringing you a TGIFridays pen. (I’m guessing she was probably a server at the other restaurant before going to Applebee’s)
Right? Maybe he was so coked up at the time he forgot he wrote It? “This story’s amazing! I wish I would have thought of this!” You did Stephen, you did.
Yeah, the whole thing is a bummer. I get it. But as you say, what did you expect?
Is this clip from bizzaro-MTV? I’ve never seen nor heard this cover ever.
One miserable fucking day of terrestrial radio I had the misfortune of hearing both the Don Henley original and The Atari’s cover of “Boys of Summer.” It was bad guys.
I am reading “As You Wish” Cary Elwes’ memoir of filming The Princess Bride. It’s a breezy read, and it’s nice to know that the cast and crew (seemingly) loved making this beloved film.
Man, I love The Princess Bride. Really such a great book (and movie of course) Coincidentally I am currently reading “As You Wish” by Cary Elwes, his memoir of the filming of The Princess Bride. It really makes me wan to re-read the book and re-watch the movie.
I read The Terror a number of years back and thought it was amazing from start to finish. So depressing and sad and terrifying. I’ve never read any reviews or internet talk about it though so I do not know why other people disliked the ending.
The Crow soundtrack was created for me when I was 16. I was completely infatuated with the Grunge/Goth?Industrial sounds. Nine Inch Nails was my favorite band at the time along with The Cure. “Burn” is still an amazing song, and “Dead Souls” was my first introduction to Joy Division albeit second hand.
Mine’s pretty simple.
This fills my heart with sadness.
Well, drinking is a well-established pastime here. Glad you enjoyed!
Morrissey’s descent into White Nationalism is disheartening. His latest album is shit too.
A lot of times there are three stages for me eating a banana:
They should get an Agents of SHIELD episode at one of the parks.
