I think what they meant is you get more XP now for menial tasks compared to before the Go Beyond initiative. For example, they raised an excellent catch throw from 100 to 1000 XP. Evolving a Pokémon is doubled from 500 to 1000 XP

Because you make more money selling them individually over digital download after just upscaling them for mobile phones 10 years ago (those were considered HD remasters back then) because people will still buy it on their current consoles to relive the games again.
