Alaskan Amber is terrible, same level as Mac & Jacks. Good under rated Ambers are Red Hooks’ Copperhook and Rogue’s American Amber.

Why would you save after using the cheat codes? You can’t 100% the game if you had activated them. I get that using it as a crutch to beat a hard mission is useful, but what’s the point of saving after using something like riot mode?

I just made a batch using Takara mirin after using sherry for years (because aji-mirin is just mirin flavoring) based off the “Momofuku” recipe that the test kitchen approved. God did that make a difference. Don’t use sherry, don’t use aji-mirin, venture into an Asian market that sells alcohol and get the Takara Mirin…

And you gotta use Mirin, not aji-Mirin. I wish I lived somewhere Hon-Mirin was readily available, but I snagged some Takara Mirin and have been using that. I have my eggs down pretty well, I’ve been utilizing an instant pot for the cooking, and I use Aloha brand shoyu because I think it adds a better flavor.
