Windows only. So, only useful for people who don't like Ubuntu then? My head hurts.

Perhaps a word of explanation might be in order for those that don't live in the US and don't have any idea what this is about?

@jonny6pak: Luminotes looks to be self-hosted. Tiddlywiki doesn't need hosting at all.

Erm . Where do I start? You compare PBwiki, Luminotes and Tiddlywiki. This is like comparing apples, a Power Mac, and Apple Records. They are completely different things.

This is silly. Credit cards are an easy way of getting a high-interest loan. No matter what the perks are, you are going to end up paying though the nose for them in the end.

This is clever — but in NO POSSIBLE WAY does it constitute an "office".

Does it work in anything other than Gnome yet? Last time I looked it failed to cope with multiple desktops in Fluxbox...

What doesn't work about GTD for me is that it doesn't actually help me get things done... which is not to say that it is useless. What it's good at is stopping you worrying that you have forgot something and freeing your brain to get on with what brains are good for.

The Guardian; The Register; New York Times "World" feed; Wired's "science" and "Threat Level" feeds.

I like the technique, but decluttering like this generally only works if you have money. Sorry, but there it is. If you can afford to throw/give away stuff because you haven't used it in a while, fine.

I know it's *Gnome* Do, but it would be really nice if it worked with other window managers.

@send9: There's a lot to that argument. It's exactly what I do — I run Fluxbox under vanilla Ubuntu.

Linux nuts who are feeling jealous at this point should google for an app called gcalsync.

I suspect that I would miss this feature more than I would like any speed benefits.

Sent myself an SMS but I didn't get it.

For me? Easy enough to understand, but hard to understand how it works. And I'm going to need to do that before I trust it.

I too thought that EOM was an incredibly cool idea. It saves you time, and it saves the person that gets the mail time.

For the record, I would never do that, and I would humbly suggest that anyone think twice themselves before doing it.
