The second loot cave is honestly not even worth it at this point. Its funner to just do strike playlists and crucible for gear. You know, because vanguard points let you buy gear anyway. And they drop engrams, etc.

Even if stuff was cut, I don't think they've done a good job creating a coherent or enjoyable story. If they added stuff in as expansions, what I've seen of the "story" just isn't good. It feels like all the people that made the Halo campaigns left the building a long time ago.

They do make a rather interesting point about how the randomness adds a player-fabricated personality to the Cryptarch. And by "player fabricated" I mean that the Cryptarch was obviously programmed to be a jerk.

What? It's not hard to get gear. If people would stop relying on random drops and go after what is guaranteed they would already be 27+
