Not a fanboy here, I think this game couldn't get out of the way of its own hype. I was hoping for an epic story but what I got was above average shooting and a gorgeous world. It really is good but it's not what they promised.

I certainly hope someone at Remedy got their hands on on Rockstar's Max Payne 3, not that the other 2 were bad, but Rockstar pretty much set the standard for third person action shooters controls wise, I have yet to find a TPS that's even half as good.

Didn't like Gone Home, but Gaynor is correct. Fallout 1's beginning holds up well, and it's hard to beat Ron Perlman narration...especially if it's about a game that is also amazing. Was gonna say it before I read it.
