No, you can use a fresh character or an existing one. Character level doesn’t matter. Once you enter the DLC area your stats are locked to prevent you from steamrolling the content. There will be a “leveling” system in the DLC similar to the prayer bead system in Sekiro, from what I understand.

I DID beat the game (using cheese strategies for several of the more annoying bosses). Seeing one of the good endings gave me a rush I have yet to experience with any other difficult game. But I have ZERO desire to ever play it again. And, yeah, the adds for certain bosses made them more frustrating than they had any

It is the definition of a “slow burn.” I hated the first Dragon’s Dogma for the first 10 hours, give or take. Once you get to the capital city, the game gets exponentially better.

What’s the big deal? She’s making Funko Pops for middle class white women. At least these collectibles serve a functional purpose: playing music.

Hopefully it’s better than Warrior. The fight choreography in that show was bland and the story seemed overdone and cliché. I don’t think I made it through the pilot.

Yeah I didn’t have a problem with her in Euphoria or White Lotus, which made the opening minutes of Anyone But You all the more jarring. Really helps you understand the role of the director in coaxing good performances out of mediocre actors.

My partner and I are big into rom coms, so I, ahem, procured a copy of that movie. I think we lasted five minutes. We probably would have sat through the entire “guy pretends he knows girl for her benefit” thing if the acting wasn’t offensively bad.

Elden Ring is one of the only games I’ve bothered to platinum. I can’t wait to go back for a fourth run with new content. The only question is whether to start or new character or steamroll through with my dual GUTS-wielding bonk character.

I’m not a huge fan of sandbox games, so I was hoping Starfield would be this game, except with Bethesda’s robust quest systems and numerous side quests and distractions. No Man’s Sky does space better in every conceivable way. I just wish there was a story on top of it and quests to do. Like, someone please put out a

Oh, thank you! For the one where you order the books by size, I thought I had to do it fast in order to get the second star. But the second solution is clearly going tallest to shortest (or vice versa depending on what you did the first time).

Ahahaha literally had the same experience with the same puzzle.

We really need to rethink the whole “cozy” thing. Maybe the first 5 levels of this game could be considered relaxing. Then it descends into an abstract puzzle mindfuck. At least there’s a hint system. I spent 15-20 minutes fiddling with the book spines that have designs on them trying to make a coherent pattern. The

Yes, absolutely. But, due to budget cuts, they had to use a Filipino studio for the final season of the original show. If you compare the character models from seasons 1-4 and 5 they are NOTICEABLY less detailed and uglier.

They should outsource the final season to a Filipino studio, so the quality of the animation looks noticeably shittier. Would be a bizarre callback only the older crowd would get. But so worth it.

Right? The 1993 Sega Megadrive/Genesis remake had more content than this game.

I’d probably spend more time with the game if it was F2p, but I didn’t even get through the tutorial during the beta period. It’s the ship combat from Black Flag, note-for-note, with nicer graphics. That’s not worth $40 to me. At least Ubisoft will get the government of Singapore off their backs.

The trailer was shockingly bad. If you can’t cobble together 30 seconds of decent footage to market your movie, don’t release it.

I’ve seen a lot of sensationalism on social media about how Microsoft is “exiting the console market.” As an Xbox owner, I’d be genuinely upset if I had to move over to the Playstation ecosystem. But, thankfully, that doesn’t seem to be the case. There are a lot of Sony exclusives that I’ll never get the chance to

Ugh I’m sorry. Missed opportunity to stick the landing!

Narrator: It won’t.
