How does Evil West compare to Gungrave G.O.R.E.? The latter is on Game Pass, and I played through it because I have fond memories of the original game (yes, I’m old). I beat it. It was okay, but there were some frustratingly designed areas (the train, and the hallway in the final level) that made the game less than

Nah, he can do at least THREE voices! (Knifey, with an Australian accent.

It doesn’t look like the game is releasing on Xbox. I don’t see it on the store and other articles don’t mention an Xbox version. Bummer.

I drink a decent amount of tequila. Terramana is so bad it should be classified as a hate crime.

I’m finally doing a second play through after putting almost 200 hours into the game at launch. What amazes me about FROM Soft design is that your biggest barrier isn’t the difficulty of the game, it’s your lack of knowledge as a player.

I’ve never seen the 12-3-30 workout marketed as a replacement for strength training, but I have seen a lot of fitness influencers touting the “fat burning” angle. I found a middle ground is nice — strength training AND a treadmill workout. I do, however, walk at the variation where it’s MAX incline and 3.2MPH.

You pretty much hit the nail on the head. My Switch has basically been collecting dust because the majority of the games I enjoy playing either aren’t available on Switch or perform much better on my Series X. Even DQ XI is a much better experience on Xbox hardware.

Police simulators are nothing new. I was playing SWAT 2 in the VERY RECENT year of 1998.

I played through Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, and enjoyed it, but there were definitely flaws. I felt like I was spending more time swapping out guns in my inventory (especially early on when you can only have two equipped), and the lengthy missions made it harder to just jump in and feel like I could get something done

Cyberpunk 2077 pre-patch and post-patch are like two completely different games. I played through the prologue when the game first released and felt like Night City was bland and empty. I came back over a year later to find the game densely populated, with the gunplay and driving systems in much better states. They

The problem with a lot of “outrage” discourse is that the writer wants you to be angry but never explains WHY. If someone had calmly explained to me that AI art generators are trained on REAL art, and don’t just come up with pieces on the fly, I’d be a lot more likely to sympathize with their position.

I bought the Bayonetta/Vanquish bundle on Xbox and am still annoyed that Bayonetta is the game that got two sequels. The only thing more bonkers than the gameplay in Vanquish is the story, which meshes plausibility (Russia influencing American politics) with the far-fetched (macho, cigarette-smoking cyborg super

I don’t want to say that the absence of Vampire Survivors invalidates this whole list — since, you know, taste in games is completely subjective — but come on!

Whenever I’m feeling down, I go back and watch Kevin O’Leary’s speech about how much of a genius Sam Bankman-Fried is. The rich really do be failing upward.

This gives more credence to the theory that Caroline Ellison magically appeared in New York, after being on the run, in order to testify against him. She snitched to save her own skin.

She was absolutely terrible in Red Notice and still wasn’t the worst part of the movie.

I’m perplexed by the fact that the team responsible for the first two Dead Space games, made up of the same people who decried Microsoft’s interference in the third game, essentially made Dead Space 3 again. Straightforward action with zero puzzles AND micro-transactions?! How did they think this was going to go?

I just started playing on Xbox and finally cracked the code on staying alive. Though you can carry up to 6 weapons by default, I wouldn’t overextend early on. Focus on your character’s starting weapon, plus something complementary.

I snagged Witcher 3 on sale and have been waiting for the next-gen update to drop before diving in. Mind you, I played through the whole game/DLCs on the Switch, but that experience was less than ideal. I’d love to see what the game looks like on hardware that can handle it.
