Me too! At least it was built in the 20th century (1922).

I don't know if he can Hackett.

Only Will McAvoy at ACN managed to get that one right.

But the serial killer!

What's your death-row last meal?

Great question! This is how you play Would You Rather.

How do you balance work and family?

I think the video-watching scene is a clever homage to Bob Odenkirk spending his life spreading mayostard and mustardayonnaise.

Also with that Patrick Stewart clue, Martha Stewart doesn't jump to mind when I hear "TV style expert." She's got magazines and a whole corporate brand … Tim Gunn is a TV style expert.

Ugh, I know US Presidents and Veeps really well, but I can't tell you what most of them did before getting elected. I picked Coolidge since he was second after Teddy Roosevelt to be VP and President (in the 20th century). Turns out he was in Massachusetts state politics before 1920.

Initially, I chuckled seeing Jeopardy! on your list, then realized not only do I watch it almost every day and read Jay's recaps, but this year really was exceptional. I'd add to your list the prevalence of tie games, a surprise tie in the Teen Tournament, return of the mustache, and "aspiring student" Amy.

And the Shadow Giller, a group of book blogger who read the shortlist and pick their favourite before the winner is announced, agreed with the real jury for the first time in five years. (I liked it too.)

One of the book blogs I like said North America is tragically unaware of Richard Flanagan. I'm planning on reading Narrow Road in the new year, then looking into his back-catalogue.

Reading What If right now, and getting my brother a copy for Christmas. He just explained the perils of self-fertilization using a D&D analogy, and last night I was reading about how many Newtons of force Yoda creates when using the Force. Good silly semi-educational read.

Matt Damon's starring as a guy alone on a planet? Dude's getting typecast! (I finally watched Interstellar last night.)

She's worth a gander. Six!

I picked up This One Summer because it got Governor General Award nominations for art and writing (won for art). Enjoyed it, reading it all in one go.

Yay! Loved BFF, love this show.

Sadly I'm out of couples I cheer for in comics. The only other character-driven one I read is Questionable Content, and I'm not invested in any of the couples.
