Not many players could hold that consecutive FJ correct responses record. On the j-archives, there's a note about Ken Jennings getting his 10th in a row on game 63, but he missed the 11th. Julia Collins, Dave Madden, Roger Craig, and Brad Rutter all have enough games, but none of them reached 10 FJs in a row.

According to iTunes, I started listening to Serial 14.5 minutes ago, and now there's this podcast.

I thought Tel Aviv was going to be the response since it was made a capital in the late 40s and Belem sounds Hebrew, like a mini-Bethlehem. I should have either (A) focused on the BR in the highway name, or (B) played Oregon Trail and Amazon Trail.

I knew there was a term to do with "body," but I couldn't come up with it in the 30 seconds so I just went with pro boner.

Which has been a huge mistake—each games has been won by a man wearing a suit and tie. Only the best dressed shall advance! (Good luck to Julia and her LBD plus pearls.)

What? No.

Ditto. And a year ago, I got the triple stumper "portcullis" thanks to Blackee Green.

"What do you mean my sword isn't going to be ready until tomorrow? I've got the money and the gold dust now, and the fucking moon is coming down tonight!!"

I second Jay's comment. Jason assumed C & C would bet strategically, but that left him open to Caitlin's all-in bet.

Wild FJ wagers! Thanks to low bets, Casey wouldn't have won if she got Taft right, and Jason wouldn't have won if Casey got Taft right. Yet Casey's wager was high enough to guarantee she would lose to Jason.

The highest grade you can give!

Contestant pool high five!

During games, I track my score to see if I would win (assuming reasonable bets in FJ), and this is was my first runaway victory! Felt pretty good, especially after I stole Ryan's "Jean Louis Davide" flub—didn't recognize the painting, but I know his first name is Jacques—then got the easy DD about the death of Nelson.

My concern with double winners is that twenty contestants have shown up in LA for two days of filming, and now someone is flying home without being on the show (unless the producers keep a couple Californians for the Friday game).

Contestant pool high five!

Thanks for correcting!

Simon Singh, not Singn.

We have a Kirkland Lake in Ontario. A younger me assumed that must have been the Costco Kirkland.

The Tournament of Champions has been announced for November 10-21!

And then he professes his love for her to a Sex and the City bus tour, only to be filmed and have everyone at ACN watch it on YouTube. This is the Spoiler Space for The Newsroom, right?
