@twothefutureandbeyond: I'm pretty unconvinced. In order to harvest significant energy, you need a significant temperature delta. That delta between the warm, skin/inwards pocket side of the phone and the outer side wouldn't be significant enough to generate anything of interest.

Maybe if Nokia stopped wasting time and money on machined blocks of copper with some stuck-on cardboard buttons, they could crank out a decent smartphone....
