Ahh, yeah I also have the entire left sidebar blocked with ABP (because I was hoping by doing so it would then re-center/stretch the rest of the page, but no). I'm curious now how often this has happened to me, since this was just the first time I've noticed it.
I've never missed any of the 'top 10' or 'dealhacks'

Is it just me, or why isn't this post showing up on lifehackers front page?
(I saw the link to this article while I was on my mobile phone viewing twitter and wanted to view it on my desktop when I got home, but I had to go to your twitter page in order to get here because I couldn't find it on the front page).

I've actually been doing this for the past ~6 months, but it was due to a schedule change and me being too tired/lazy, not because it was (allegedly) better for me, ha. In the morning after brushing my teeth I just use a Neutrogena astringent pad on my face.

Documents To Go was the most expensive app I've purchased. I rarely ever pay full price for an app. When I see an app I like/want, I add it to my wish list in 'App Shopper' then just wait until it goes on sale.

Yeah I just watched the video on the website and it looks like it may have this now, but I think it's the wording of it that's throwing me off, "...browse pictures in your timeline." To me, that's different from browsing pictures in someones profile. I guess I'll have to try and confirm it with someone that has

Besides it not being universal, my biggest gripe with the app is the lack of having a slide show of pictures when you go to someone's profile, like the official twitter app & website have.

For about the past month, half the time I load/reload gmail or google the black navigation bar still appears. Since it was so intermittent, I just figured it was because of an adblock element hiding rule that I created or something, but never really cared all that much to look.

I've been using the Canadian version of yahoo pages (especially for sports scores) whenever possible because I detest the new look of yahoo so much.

Haha, I was about to make the same comment. It was the first thing I thought of when I saw St. Olaf.

So when you say that wiping the data on 'newer' iPhones (I have a 4S with iOS 7) is fast, do you have like an estimate on the time?
I'm just curious because I plan on going to the Apple store and trading in my 4S for a 5S (if they ever get any more in..) and the store is like a 30 minute drive away so if I did it as I

I would also like to know.. was hoping there would be a link or something besides just a 5-word sentence. I've watched so many different tutorial videos on YouTube but have yet to find anything that good/helpful. I would love to find someone or a video of someone who does this for a living and have them just show me

Ahh, so I guess that would explain why the 3 emails I sent myself from my computer to my iPhone yesterday didn't arrive until this morning.

It's really not that intimidating. The kb.mozillazine link in the last paragraph tells you everything you need to know about what each individual entry in about:config does. And in regards to keeping track of the changes you've made, about:support has a list of the preferences you've modified, and the ones with the

@testable Over at MacRumors, it seems to be the consensus that the lack of moving/scaling for home & lock screens is due to the parallax, and they suggest taking a screenshot of the way you want your wallpaper to be and then use that.

My biggest music-related issue on iOS 7 is the stability, or lack thereof, the iTunes Store app on my iPhone 4S. It's incredibly slow and laggy, and if I click on a song to preview, then click on another song to preview, the screen goes black and then crashes roughly 85% of the time I use the app. And when I switch

Another 'Download Any Video' trick that does the exact same thing as pwn is 'ss'.

I'm also a big fan of WeatherBug Elite - I've been using it for 5+ years, back when I was sportin' a BlackBerry and WeatherBug was one of the only/few weather apps available. I always download the (iPhone) weather apps when there is a review about one here on Lifehacker - only if it's free though, if not it goes in my

I was 10 years old and just had surgery on my broken leg only a few weeks into summer vacation and my grandma surprised me with a Packard Bell computer (and three years earlier when I broke my ankle, she bought me a Game Boy).
