No, I have the Netgear N900, but thankfully iOS 8.1 seemed to have fixed my iPad Air connectivity issues. It was listed in the 8.1 update log, so Apple definitely knew it was a problem on their end.
Keeping my fingers crossed that this will fix the issue of iPad Air's not being able to stay connected to 5 Gz wi-fi.. since upgrading to iOS 8 I've been unable to connect to the 5 Gz frequency, it just cycles between connecting to needing to reconnect every 30 seconds.
