It’s not so much quality for me as it is style. Even though the main differences are textures and the way some models are rounded, that’s enough to make the new courses feel a lot more sterile than the original bunch IMO.

Ugh, this makes it harder for me to enjoy Unite. It would be one thing if it was Tencent more broadly, but working at TiMi itself? Uggggggggggggggggh
It’s bizarre that both Sony and Nintendo think we want folders that live exclusively in our library, rather than folders on our actual home screens.
Yo editors, the link to the blog post is broken.
Nah, PS5 owners (and Xbox owners for that matter) are annoyed by it too. Last gen, storage space wasn't nearly as much of an issue, but games are SO much bigger now
Lol switch games don’t break the 200gb line. I can spend $40 on any 128gb card and have enough space for dozens of games, and I don’t even have to worry about drive thickness or heatsinks or anything like that
Yes. 100%.
I thought something similar, but then I think they just take their time on bigger games now. They did a review round up for Elden Ring and their review came out a week or two later IIRC.
It’s impossible for any site to cover every game that comes out, unless you're IGN or Gamespot. (And even they have blind spots.) It's even less possible for a single writer to know every release.
Considering they're unionized and most of them are credited as staff writers, not that optimistic?
Y’all are so pressed about “low effort," but I think it's hilarious that these were presented without comment
I imagine they’re mostly salaried lol
Eh, you could say the same thing about a physical Certificates of Authenticity, but people still place value on them. And yes, while it’s almost identical to a PDF, theoretically the nature of the Blockchain means it’s much harder to falsify than a random PDF.
I actually think this is much better than most implementations of NFTs. It can function as a digital certificate of authenticity, which is actually creating some sort of value rather than creating artificial scarcity.
God, it's so hard for me to resist when I see a multiplayer game has support characters. I might have to try this out lol
I feel like the people you’re talking about are the exception rather than the rule. Yes, some sanitation workers enjoy their work and are passionate about it, but most of them are there for a paycheck. Like most professions.
(To clarify, I know tons of non-QA developers have been clamoring for unionization, but it seems like there’s still a sizeable group that isn’t interested. Which makes sense, because the workers who are treated the better have less incentive to unionize.)
Love it. Hopefully industry unionization continues accelerating the way it’s been over the past year or two. It would be great if we saw more non-QA unions, but even if it sticks to QA for the near future it could be really disruptive and show the value of unionizing to engineers/designers/artists/etc.
I wish they took the gunplay and modding system from Outriders and mixed it with the movement from Anthem... That would be absolutely splendid.
At the minimum there needs to be some kind of registry so it's not on the cop's honor
