Yes, buying a star in real life is stupid, but in the show they say clearly that it’s for anti San-Ti fundraising. It’s just a silly gift to get rich people to donate to science and defense funding.

It’s kind of rich for Japanese media to take issue with depictions of other nations’ WWII war crimes.
Immortality was FMV, to my knowledge, so it was all live action filming. Larian thinks they are the first with mo-cap scenes.
“The only magic mirror I felt like I had was Disney’s Princess Jasmine, though I knew she was supposed to be Arabic, and that identifying with her was a consolation prize.”
I’m more upset that the official account missed an opportunity to call Sidon Link's best friend
Comparing PC, a platform with multiple marketplaces, to consoles... Makes sense
“Don’t pick a fight with a giant unless you know you can win it.”
It has more to do with the legacy of colonialism than religion, IMO. The British Raj (and the East India Company before them) stoked regional, cultural, and religious tensions for nearly 200 years, and then peaced out with a partition that was nearly as destructive as the Raj itself. And now there’s a populist +…
I’m so in love with the art style of Wonder. I don't even like the 2d games that much but I've been watching the trailer over and over.
The fact that they're charging $15 for the story missions is WILD. Just another bad decision in the long chain.
“Phenomenal” is a bit much. It’s certainly a technical feat that Nintendo has done so much with such aging hardware, but that doesn’t make the frequent (if brief) frame rate drops disappear.
Ah yes, Benito Mussolini, the famous socialist
Well, you’ve hit the nail on the head! You ARE holding the gamepad at (almost) all times, so when you want to play on the gamepad you just... keep playing.
How do you mean? Pressing a button to switch from one screen to the other when you’re streaming from your console?
Actually, since the Wii U gamepad had an IR blaster built in, I didn’t even have to look for the remote to turn the TV off! (But also, in a shared home there are a lot of times where someone else wanted to use the TV, so I just switched to the gamepad.)
I love my Switchbut it’s not the same at all! On the Wii U, I literally just walked away from the TV if I wanted to play in bed or something (though some games had you press a button to switch to gamepad mode). I didn’t need to take anything out of a dock or put anything back in a dock. It was totally seamless.
Because the rise of a conservative fascist is relevant to all Americans. And you’re kidding yourself if you think he wouldn’t start policing video games.
What the actual fuck
I’m irrationally excited about this, because it might mean I can return to the Wii U days where I could instantly switch between TV and portable.
I hope more big publishers price-differentiate their games like this. It's usually full price AAA, or <$30 "indie" games. $50 is intriguing!
