Actually I had a few Beast Machines toys that transformed nicely and looked really cool!

Beast Machines was completely different but I thought it was SO good. The characters were really intriguing (apart from a certain dead character coming back to life and completely switching sides for no apparent reason) and I thought it was plotted well.

I think the problem was that it introduced a scarcity mechanic in a game that is otherwise pretty free-flowing and naturalistic. It could be hard to gauge how long a given weapon would last you, which meant you couldn’t be sure if you had enough weapons or the right weapons for a given area or task. For most people,

I mean, those aren't exactly exclusive to Naruto lol

Nice and smooth, excellent!

If you’re going to use Horizon on PC as a reason not to be interested in the PS5, shouldn’t the same apply to Microsoft, when all of their games will be on PC day and date?

“patience is easy”

it’s sooooo normal that Ancel found out about his investigation from his “close friend”

And that’s exactly what Microsoft is going for. It’s easier for users to write off the  the performance issues in streaming because the whole thing feels like a bonus, it’s just not the main offering in Game Pass. And in the meantime, MS has plenty of time to gather data and analytics to improve performance over time

Mypoint is more that, given the ballooning size of game installs, the high cost might outweigh the performance benefits of these advanced SSDs.

Yeah, I’m just now realizing that while Sony created a proprietary SSD, they’re not forcing people to use it for expansion.Sony said that only certain SSDs will be whitelisted for compatibility, though, which is somewhat worrisome.

How long do you think it would take to transfer a game from an HDD to the main storage? Games can be so big nowadays...

*Unless they’re Xbox One games that are Series X enhanced (which isn’t the same as an actual, full-blown Series X version). So, like, you couldn't play Gears 5 from an external drive.

I don’t think anyone is suggesting the SSD isn’t sufficiently advanced for its price, but rather that perhaps the SSD *shouldn’t* be so advanced if it’s going to cost that much. Especially when games are so enormous nowadays.

Yeah, if anything I bet PS5 expansion memory will be *more* expensive, given how much engineering Sony has apparently put into it.

I was confused by the headline for a

HOLY cannoli

It would be cool if you guys had an info box or something that has basic data on a given game, like platforms/developer/release date/etc. You usually cover it in the article, but it’s often easy to miss, and it’s just useful having all that info in one place!

lol I’m banking on Platinum’s history of delivering games. They’ve only cancelled one game (Scalebound), two if you count how they handed full development of the Granblue Fantasy game to the co-developer.

I mean, Bayonetta 2 wouldn't have even come out were it not for Nintendo, and I imagine the same goes for 3
