I have basically zero impulse control, so I’m pretty sure that if the reviews aren’t absolutely horrible I’ll be getting one near/at launch, whether I actually want one or not 😑

God, this song is so good
oh I totally agree, I don’t judge other people for saying it the other way, but I loooooooove saying “a shambles” for some reason haha
It varies from person to person. Like, I have different button mappings and sensitivities for many of my mains in Overwatch, and after a brief adjustment period the first few times I used the new mappings, it’s only been helpful.
This is a much less common one, but certain pedants out there will insist upon “X is a shambles” rather than “X is in shambles.”
A) Saving up for a large console purchase is a very different proposition from an ongoing $10 price increase for many games
Forget deeply discounted, most of them have been offered free on PS Plus!
This is kind of weird because almost all of these games have been on PS Plus. And most early adopters have probably been in the PS ecosystem for a while. Which means they likely won’t get much value from this.
I’m not sure if the Series X is a better value. It has a higher max power threshold, certainly, but I wonder how useful that'll be in practice.
Unfortunately, some of those games will be $70 😱
It’s funny, because this kind of WAS what PS Plus was originally: an “instant game collection,” where you didn’t have to claim games every month, you just had access to all of them automatically (even if you weren't signed up when they were added).
This is a really half hearted attempt at combating Game Pass lol.
Where the fuck are all these trolls coming from
Falcom has such an amazing stable of composers. Here’s one of my favorites from them:
I think so, unless they successfully pivot to community gaming hubs or whatever they’re testing out. But even then it’ll certainly be a much smaller national presence.
this should go in the dictionary next to “chonky”
I don’t mind cartoony at all! But that’s not my problem. It’s just not a great implementation of a cartoony art style. The more I think about it, I think it's toeing the line between cartoony and realistic a little too closely, and ending up unsatisfying from both perspectives.
Serge Hascoet and Maxime Beland (among others)didn’t suddenly become problematic over
christ, this is what constitutes a remake?
I dig how colorful it is, but something about it looks... off? Like, the effects are beautiful, but the models have an almost budget feeling to them. Sort of generically cartoony, perhaps.
