I would say it more directly correlates to the LoL vs HoN fight before Dota 2 came out. LoL stayed free after beta. HoN went for a barrier of entry. HoN died even though it was a more faithful Dota clone (And personally played better than Dota 2 does)

I run Chrome with Adblock+ and this site bogs so hard lately. If you figure something out, please let me know. I’d rather find a new site than turn off Adblock.

I think it’s all the ads, all the gifs, and all the video they are trying to push these days. Things go so slowly that I can barely scroll through the main page on my ipad anymore.

Why is this site hanging up so much lately? If I linger on a page for more than a couple of minutes it becomes unresponsive. Is it a Google Chrome problem or a problem with the site? It’s very irritating either way.

I got such a kick out of the Enterprise showing up at the end (and it looked fantastic), so of course the AVC review hates it.
