My three problems with it...

ugh

Yeah, my first impression was “is this one of those ‘coupe’ SUV things BMW is into now?  Oh wait, did the title say M3?  WTF?”

This sounds....  lazy.  A little CGI can modify the barriers at the track, if nothing else.  Given that the barriers aren’t the intended focal point you probably wouldn’t notice it unless you were really looking for it.

Watkins Glen, please.

That wing looks terrible.

The post on reddit/cars has some intelligent input on this from actual lawyers.  Basically, they’re suing to get the insurance to pay.  Kevin Hart himself will most certainly not see dime come out of his pocket and is probably okay with this.

Mike Pence sucks.

I get that. The $42k price tag is hard to get over. In the absence of a V-8 model this car makes a good case for itself, but I couldn’t see myself considering this car for more than $35k. Above that the V-8 seems like a no-brainer.

I dropped 25 lbs of the nose of my GTI by installing a lightweight battery and it was absolutely noticeable. 200 lbs? If the V-8 is a nice handling car the turbo model must be fantastic to drive on a tight back road. In a few years I bet the turbo Mustang will be the go-to budget track day machine.

I’ve never seen a Tesla on the road with wheel arches or those particular wheels. How much plus sizing did they do with the wheel and tire width relative to how they sell this car? Is it running a typical street compound tire or a DOT-R? If they’re willing to add visual modifications as obvious as the fender flares, wh

Honestly...... why is this a problem? 325 horsepower is perfectly adequate for this car. My minivan has less, weighs more, and I never find it wanting for more power even when merging into traffic on a short on-ramp. We’re beyond the point of diminishing returns with engine power. More is great for sports cars, and

Elon Musk called an emergency worker preparing for an exceptionally dangerous job a pedophile for not appealing to Musk’s “Tony Stark” fantasy and using his half baked toy in their rescue operation.  Elon Musk is not a good person.

Fuck the NRA.

Where did they mount the turbo? ....or is Porsche trying to remind us all of ‘Turbo’ buttons on 30 year old personal computers?

I have never seen someone heel/toe with their heel on the brake like that before. I wonder if he’s doing it that way out of necessity with the pedal box or if that’s his honest preference. Either way, that’s an amazing display of talent. Being able to shift between left foot braking to heel/toe downshifting so

This middle age guy with disposable income for a frivolous car purchase wants a manual transmission. I'd love to have a Corvette, but I'm happy to get a Porsche instead.

I suppose the upside is that I no longer have any reason to step foot inside of a GM dealership.

Pull out your phone and take a picture of the parking structure level, section, and the number of the spot your car is parked in.  When you come back....  look at the picture.

The decision was wrong. The wrong decision ruined the race. But, I suppose if F1 must have Mercedes dominate, then I guess it wasn't wrong.
