The ruling ruined the race.

I enjoyed this channel until Ed Bolian released a video where he droned on about how felony tax evasion is perfectly okay because rich people shouldn’t have to pay taxes because the wealth they’re investing in luxury automobiles somehow creates jobs.
All this talk about various F1 teams threatening to leave F1 is ridiculous. These teams aren’t going anywhere, they’ll just get sold and a new name will go up. Renault’s team used to be Lotus, Mercedes-AMG used to be Brawn, Red Bull Racing used to be Jaguar, Toro Rosso used to be Minardi, etc. etc. etc.
I agree with your sentiment on the whole “Ferrari sends technicians to set up their cars” thing, but if they do sell cars which are highly adjustable I think it might be somewhat appropriate. There are a lot of car journalists that aren’t all that great at driving, so expecting them to also be able to dial in damper…
Be warned: I purchased a TCL P-series TV last year and I’ve had to make multiple warranty claims. Technicians had to come out three different times and I’m on my fourth television.

So the Daytona 500 is a Grand Prix because it is...
I’m feeling claustrophobic just looking at these pictures. If I had to cram into one on an actual airplane I’d probably have a full on panic attack.
They can automate a car and make it drive around a race track quickly all by itself. I’m sure someone can figure out how to get a drone to fly that same pattern and maintain a certain set distance from whatever car they choose to pin it to.
How do we convince them to take the gloves off and compete with these cars at the Pikes Peak Hill Climb? How glorious would that be?
I agree, this car is better in most respects than its reputation suggests. Such a shame about the engine though, so many stupid issues that could be forgiven if it weren’t so damn expensive to replace.
I’d bet that this setup is his choice. It looks like he’s got a custom pedal box so it’s probably adjusted to his liking.
“Bleep bloop we’re Mercedes we dominate F1 and are bored.”
I think it’s his overall car control that’s most impressive. I’m not sure I see anything special about his heel/toe, I think most well practiced drivers can do that all the same. I think the difference is that most use it purely for downshifting, as opposed to purposefully applying brakes and power to control load tran…
Yeah but there’s no disco balls. We’re being robbed.
ah I see, yeah I did modify the post because after reading it it didn’t say what I felt like I meant to say. Sorry for that.
I get his point, but I’m not suggesting that it be used outside of the normal rules (within a second of a leading car), only the zones. There are a number of shorter straight sections on most tracks where DRS could be used safely to allow a following car to stick closer to a lead car, or at least close enough to maybe…
I think they should keep DRS but get rid of DRS “zones.” Let the drivers use at any point on the track where they feel it can provide them an advantage.
I appreciate the idea of hating on a guy that’s been so dominant through his career, but after watching of his interviews Vettel seems impossible to dislike. The guy once crashed a Hamilton interview and told him he only won because he hated birds and that he himself loved them so much he sacrificed his race to swerve…
It looks like the designers had a Ford GT in the room with them.
I owned one. It was a car.
