I currently live in south Texas, and it’s more or less the same. Although I tend to describe it as walking into a clothes dryer. There is some truth to the “dry heat” thing, not that it’s any more comfortable to be in a “wet heat”, it’s just a different kind of miserable.
I can say this though, at least in the "dry…
Rock on man, I love hearing stories about these cars nearing the big 2-0-0.
I'll accept your answer as truth because I don't know any better, nor do I have a strong opinion on the subject. But in a world where an internet search provider is dabbling in driver-less auto technology, it doesn't seem completely insane that Tesla would pursue something like this.
After reading this, I owe my wife a hug. When I talked about selling my car to get something more pedestrian to save money, her response was: "don't do that, your car makes you happy."
So he should avoid doing things that he could profit from? What if this is both the right thing to do for the company and something he could personally gain from?
So regarding the Excursion.... can't the same case be made for the Suburban? Does the Suburban do something different or better to justify its existence?

After the C6 was released, the C5 stopped being my favorite ever Corvette. Now, I still really like the C6, but the C5 has gone back to the top. I think the C5 is the only Corvette I'd own, aside from perhaps an unobtainable '60's model.

Fox motorsports coverage is so bad it completely turned me off to Nascar.
Okay so the answer to this entire conversation is fairly simple.... how many cruise missiles can a potential adversary put in the air at one time, versus how many can a carrier battle group shoot down in a short period of time? I’m sure the answer to this is classified and neither of us could know with any level of…
Except you can never guarantee that the golden missile won’t make it through. It’s a huge risk, and at this point I’m not entirely sure the current carrier battle group model offers enough benefits over the alternatives to be worth it.
It doesn't seem to matter. All it takes is one conventional cruise missile to hit to sideline a carrier. Relative to the price of a carrier strike group, cruise missiles are dirt cheap and can be fired by the dozens. You don't have to sink a ship to push it off the table.
Are these sandbags truly deliberate though? Because surely none of the teams getting "caught" are under the illusion that they can fudge something like this. The clock doesn't lie.
That would be a challenge. I've kept my eye out for Turbo II and GTUs model RX-7's because I like them.... you're not getting into a "well kept" model for too much below $10k these days. If you do find a Turbo for around $5500 it probably has some needs.
In this condition (assuming power steering and A/C were present) this car would be worth about this price even with the rotary in it. As much fun as that V-8 would be though, I think I'd still prefer the naturally aspirated rotary.
Good thing the US only tortures people in other countries.....
