I would absolutely buy one were I at a point in my life where I could justify a new car specifically for myself in the face of my growing family. That said, the vehicle would get used on the street, in a straight line for most of it's life. With that, I would be cross shopping this vehicle against the V-6 Camaro,

Stop speaking gibberish, for'ner. We speak 'Murican round here.

While I get it, that having two different coupes (and a sedan) on the same platform and adding a third might be too much for one product line.... and kind of smacks of old school GM badge engineering............. when the product is as good as this platform is, please give us more flavors, this concept is just too

Build a Westfield. It’s certainly cheaper, and probably just as much fun. If it’s not as much fun, you can do whatever you want to it to make it that way without ruining an antique. It may not be authentic, but if what you want is a fun ride with loads of character, it’s as good as it gets.

Years ago a close friend of mine started a business importing parts and grey market cars from Japan. Because I trusted him as a friend, I let him convince me that I could get a good deal on a Nissan 180SX that I could “easily” get titled for road use in the US. I was young, early 20's, and had some cash... so I took

Well ain't that pretty. Perfect color too.

Stop shitting on my dream, sir.

Hell yes. Give me a price. Converting my GTI to AWD would probably not be that challenging given the chassis is already designed for it.

‘Murica, fuck yeah.

Doing burnouts in front of the Arlington National Cemetery wouldn't be in poor taste. It would be perfect, for freedom.

VW should to go “near” premium. Stay distinct from Audi, don’t try to compete with Mercedes. What I love about my VW is that it feels like a budget Audi. It’s a car that makes me feel like I got great value for the money, even though I spent more on it than I would have if I had gone with a Civic or Corolla.

Would you prefer this over an R8? It seems like both of these cars are going after the same basic idea.... great every day supercar.

I instantly recognized it as Forza. Maybe because I spend hours a day playing it.

“Too slow" may not have been too slow if the driver of the car was just as blind as the rider was.

Cheers to this. People in general, and enthusiasts in particular, tend to forget that vehicles do exist to meet practical needs in addition to being fun objects to play with. The minivan is the ultimate in practical family transportation, even if you don't have a large family of more than 2.34 children. The interior

I love it.

I don't understand why, but I'm thankful it exists.

Right, but is the F-35 the answer to this? It might be, and I'm certainly not saying it's not. I guess the question is.... could we have approached this in a more effective, less expensive way?

Finally, somebody on Jalopnik understands this car.

The highlight of the Toyota lineup, IMO, is the 2GR-FE V-6. If they put that in a proper sports car I would work to encourage you to change your "No Toyotas" rule. Thankfully though, you could get that engine in a Lotus.
