When people ask me for recommendations I usually give them some options and explain why they might like it or why it would meet their needs. I gave my mother-in-law a spread of cars I thought she would like, to include vanilla options like the Corolla when appropriate. I capped it with "but here's what I'd buy for

The latest Corolla isn’t a bad car, it’s even pretty decent to drive for what it is. It feels light and it handles well. My only two complaints are the completely numb steering and the CVT that doesn't come with the best aspect of a CVT.... part throttle behavior where it smoothly picks the right ratio for the amount

These comments are the most pun I've had all week.

I get that you're trying to tie together history here, but it seems like the link between Ford dominating and BMW realizing they needed to build better cars has a pretty shaky connection. Ford didn't really do anything here, any other manufacturer could have built a dominant car and pushed BMW to respond. That the

I’d watch, that would be amazing.

Thanks for the response. Best of luck to you this year!

Hey Will, thanks for taking part in this. So what are the chances that IndyCar might do a few overseas races? For example, is there any practical reason why they couldn’t run Mount Panorama? Why not get the series on a historic European circuit like Spa or Silverstone? Thanks for joining us!

Those are the worst. Apple makes a good computer/tablet/phone, but they clearly haven't hired the best and brightest to design their cables.

Well that sucks. I haven't purchased any of those, thanks for the heads up.

Every Anker product I’ve purchased has been super high quality, especially for the price. It's the only brand we've been able to find that sells an Apple Lightning cable that doesn't fall apart after six months.

It costs too much money and it doesn’t save enough time, if any at all. Even when traffic sucks you’re still better off on I-35. The only way I’d use it again is if they dropped the price by at least 90%.

As I have heard, the hybrid powertrain turning the front wheels causes the steering to be set up in a way that leaves it completely devoid of feedback. Not a good start.

Yes, please.

I've stuck to my manufacturer specified OCI of 10k miles. After 100k miles, it's still running fine.

For me this depends. In the main family truckster that my wife has, we prefer horsepower to handling. This makes a V-6 Camry a very appealing option. For my daily, that just needs to be able to fit extra people in it every now and then, I'll take handling.... so give me the 6.

Yes, but mostly because finding a $5000 vehicle in that good of condition isn't the easiest task.

Factoring in time for repairs, how much faster is this than say.... a Toyota Land Cruiser?

It looks like what it's supposed to look like.

Yeah but, is this really a "problem?" Some formulas are so good that the spirit is strong enough to not require shock value. The GTI is the perfect example of this, as is the 911, Mustang, Corvette, etc. You make a good case for Bugatti needing to make a big splash every time it introduces something new, but that

I didn't like the earlier pictures I saw, but I'm digging this.

I’m not convinced that this is better than a base Carrera for people who like to drive.
