The prologue alone is some of the best sci-fi writing I've read in a while, and it only gets even better from there.

Memento is a masterpiece of form, btw, albeit a slightly less overall masterful masterpiece than The Prestige.

It's pretty entertaining to go back and read analysis of Memento from years ago, knowing now that the timey wimey stuff that Nolan does in his later work makes Memento's famously non-linear plot look like a game of connect the dots that creates a straight line.

Yeah, ideally they are able to balance one another out as opposed to Jon always going with what he thinks is right or Sansa turning to Littlefinger out of fear that Jon will screw things up. They seem to at least understand one another and the dangers they face, but that doesn't mean they'll be able to overcome these…

I've always liked Sansa too. Along with Dany she's undergone the most growth as a character, which automatically makes her interesting to me. She also has the benefit of being in a story that has been paced much better, as opposed to constantly needing the narrative to slow her progress down a bit.
