First, I want to say that I think you make an important and valid point and I am in agreement with you. One thing I am hearing from white people (myself included) is that some of the things we were seeing on facebook etc about BLM and Standing Rock in the last few years were about how it was time for white people to

People usually care more about stuff that directly impacts them. Since you are asking people to support causes that do not directly impact them, I can only hope you are involved in various causes that have nothing to do with your identity. It would be extremely hypocritical otherwise.

Dear lord yes they need to keep doing this.

I love that CNN elected not to cover this live—they tweeted that they’d “monitor it” for anything significant and then cut over if it warranted. And since then they’ve been fact-checking everything Spicer said.

Too bad someone didn’t give him a Third Reich in the kisser.

How amazing of Hillary to look him straight in the eye and say, “no one will ever remember you.”

This made me snort. The idea of “oh shit, I’m meeting the Obamas and I haven’t bought a gift. Better stop at the bodega on my way. hmmm...they would like Hot Takis, right? Everyone likes those. Ok, done.”

They straight up live next door to Tiffany’s. This is the equivalent of me handing Barack a gift from my bodega.

Of course it’s Tiffany’s box.

Low temps? It’s 47 out. Rainy and chilly but for Jan this is ridiculously mild. It’s like climate change just showed up to protest. (I know it doesn’t work that way, but still).

Trump has the crowd in the palm of his hand!

No the crowds are HUGE. They are all just wearing white with white hoods. They are all gathered in the center.

I’m sure he’ll say, “we had the biggest crowds ever!!” But deep down it kills him that the crowds are small, just like it kills him that he is perceived as an illegitimate president.

And then, at the end of a very long life, he would appear and gently tell you it was time to clean up your work space.

I could go for Tim Gunn as a personal savior. Whenever I was in spiritual need, he would advise me wisely, give me a hug, and tell me to “make it work!” I like it!

As I’ve mentioned elsewhere, I’m Texan. When Rick Perry (of all people) is the one congressional hearing that isn’t giving you nightmares, then yep, we’re all still pretty fucked.

Or they are doing their jobs speaking for their constituents?

If I had at least $4 million to spend on my wedding, I would do something additional with my hair...

Whenever I see HBO, my brain sees HOBO - which is exactly what I’d be if I hadn’t cut the cord.

I thought it was great at the time, but looking back, it was terrible. That show plus Sex & the City made nearly every single woman I know think she had to have a gay guy best friend/side kick — the kind of friendship where the guy’s sexual preference was front and center of every conversation and the girl would talk
