You can actually die from drinking too much water ("aka water poisoning"). Happens every year:
That's SIR Jony Ive. Credit where credit is due. I love this guy, and he even lives in my neighborhood!
What is this!? A School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for ants!?!?
I think the reason you see more propagating of the benefits of MJ is due to its illegality and Schedule I status. People are sick of the demonizing of this drug, as well as the hypocrisy of keeping it illegal while alcohol and tobacco kill thousands each year. Nobody wants to talk about oxygen because no one is…
Here's a must see Santorum campaign video which depicts Romney shooting a Santorum spraying gun. Romney ends up with Santorum all over his shirt. You can't make this Santorum up.
I also recently experienced this first hand. On a phone interview for a new job there was a slightly delayed feedback rebounding my voice back to me milliseconds after I spoke. I tried my best to slog through the first question, but quickly realized I was coming off like a complete idiot. I had to stop mid-sentence…
I get what you're saying. I tried to say it myself below in response to DarkNemesis25's comment on my post. This isn't immortality. It's just cloning. The only hope is to literally hook your brain up to a robot that somehow sustains it after the rest of your body has died.
But then it's not you. Your "spirit" or consciousness or whatever you want to call it would not transfer with the "downloading" of memories/uniqueness. You would just have a copy of yourself to talk to. That's not immortality, which is what this billionaire is striving for.
Oh come on! This thing definitely was a predator (and a terrifying one at that). We know this fish hunted other fish...
That's going to be one hellofa robot. The brain needs a constant flow of fresh blood, oxygen, and sugar (for starters). So you need to develop a robot with a circulatory system and digestive (or at least injective) system on top of the motor skills needed to move the thing around. I guess it's possible, but this guy…
...and we told the Seminole tribe that we would help to "civilize" them...
My reboot cast suggestions:
The real question is just WTF did they do with their hands?
US, Canada, Europe:
Leadership, or the lack thereof. Look at the turnover from just the last 24 months at this company. Without a coherent strategy for moving forward, you will just get run over by the competition in the tech industry. It's innovating too rapidly to stall out for even 6 months, let alone nearly a decade.
This seems apt.
I don't think so. Apple could have put out an invite with just text or a simple drawing. They deliberately put out an invite with a pic of an iPad. They know very well how crazy blogs go over leaked pics of their products, so of course they factored in the over-analysis present in this blog. That's why I am skeptical…
My 2.5 y/o has learned not to hit the button except as it's intented. However my 10 m/o still hits the button like it dispenses candy.
Leaked parts are notoriously inaccurate as to the ultimate build of the final product. They could be earlier prototypes, altered versions of the current model from some enterprising manufacturer looking to make a name for himself, or even a deliberate slight of hand by Apple to throw rumor blogs off the trail of the…
