...and the Galaxy S II just got left behind in the dust of the iPad 3's 2048p screen...

Anyone with a toddler/infant will welcome the disappearance of the home button. It might as well be a blinking neon yellow beacon in the shape of a lollipop for kids of this age/proclivity. They can't resist hitting it over and over again.

You, apparently, enough to come here, read this article, and post about it. I have an iPad 1, and have been waiting for this next leap to buy another and hand down the old iPad to the wife/kids.

Reason to get rid of it: Toddlers. It might as well be a blinking bright orange beacon in the shape of a lollipop. They can't resist hitting the button over and over again. It makes the iPad almost unusable for infants/toddlers of a certain age/proclivity.

You actually need the bezel as a buffer. My 2 year old doesn't understand that when he grips the iPad with his finger on the screen it messes up his ability to interact with some apps since the app thinks that finger is the "cursor". If that makes any sense.

Here in the Bay Area, the anti-vaccination crowd is VERY vocal, and they do regularly berate others for vaccinating their children. When you run into these folk, they WILL try to convince you not to vaccinate for the sake of autism (or just to protest big-pharma corporate greed). It's really quite surprising. Also,

That's all fine for a human (who can understand such safety factors), but for a dog who would prefer to stick its head out the window anyways I still contend the difference is negligible. Depending on the carrier, there are walls, a roof and wind protection for the dog. You're probably right, but to me there's not

I'm in no way condoning the behavior, but how is Romney's dog incident any different than the thousands of people that put their dogs in the back of their pickup trucks and drive on the freeway? I see it all the time, and the dogs seem to love it. For all we know Romney's dog just had the runs that day.

Off topic (don't ban me!), but Q always reminded me of this guy from Time Bandits, which is why I always thought Q was extra creepy...

Coming soon to a store near you: Very ugly zebra-styled camping gear!

When Wall-E recharges from the Sun he makes a Mac rebooting noise. Guess Apple noises are just the go-to for Hollywood...

Nope, the iPhone 4s was announced by Cook.

This argument is just plain stupid. You want to switch to Windows because you can't help yourself wanting new Apple products? That makes a lot of sense.

As someone who lives in one of the most famous fault zones in the world, whenever I see these "kilometer-high" skyscrapers, I'm reminded of why we don't have any such building in San Francisco. I mean seriously, do they really think it's feasible to build such a tall building on "an artificial island"? Hell, the

That's very eloquent, especially coming from a neanderthal.
