Slamming into a deer at 45mph was pretty abusive. I was so thankful to be in a rental at that moment, and not my own car. I gave the credit card insurance info to the rental company and walked away.

It was satire about feelings of being overwhelmed at times by the hate around all of us, not about ignoring it. It’s ok to feel overwhelmed, and maybe eat some cake to feel better. Then when you feel better you start fighting it again. That was all I took away from that rather funny skit.
