They’re grasping at straws. Just come out and say it, GOP. You don’t want DC to become a state because it will mean 2 more Democratic representatives to spoil all your regressive plans.

The only reason the GOP doesn’t want DC as a state is because they vote overwhelmingly democrat, which means 2 more democratic senators getting in the way of their agenda. The same goes for Puerto Rico.

If the lending is being done by Santander Consumer USA and Global Lending Service, there is virtually no downside to Nissan. Those companies are assuming the risk.

I’ve seen apartment complexes that do this. It’s often a sign that there’s high resident turnover. They’re constantly having to pull in new renters, so they want the cars to look nice so people aren’t turned off when they tour the apartment.

I work in real estate in Manhattan.

The Montana Valley Apartments manager noted that the complex doesn’t allow cars with rust, dents, flat tires, or bad paint to sit in front of its complex.

“Peak oil” has happened every decade since oil was discovered.

We’ve heard these predictions time and time again. It is similar to the “peak oil” argument. How about we wait until the recession in demand happens before announcing it?
