F12 all freakin day.

I don’t give a crap - there’s been significant (for the region) ice and snow here the last 2 weeks. We also have a 3rd gen 4runner with blizzaks. We’ve stayed in when we can, mostly just to avoid idiots on the road, but throw it into 4wd and send it into whatever weather happens to be occurring when we run out of beer.

So uhhh, how long will it take one of these to depreciate to, say, $40k?

The photos didn’t show up.

You win. No one should be able to top landmines.

Sounds like a different planet. Do you have any pics to share of that trip?

Gary, IN. Needed gas on the way up to Michigan and had to get off the highway just on the outskirts of town. I was driving a company Lexus as well, got plenty of less than inviting looks pulling into the decrepit gas station, and then a few sketchy people started to approach me while pumping gas. I stopped pumping and

That sounds about right. Even with all that pre-production effort, there are still very talented people at the door assembly process that make final adjustments on each doors to make the fit perfect. To an outsider, it looks ridiculous to see people tugging on the doors pretty hard, but that’s what it takes.

Dozens of people spend months just focusing on panel gap tolerances where I work. Those people laugh when they see Teslas.

Hell yeah, but you said Ferrari lol. $80k for a 981 GT4 is the route I’d go as well.

At $143K for the TRX, you could get a 2019 low-mile CPO Raptor for under $60k, AND a Ferrari 360 for $75k, coming in at $135k combined! It’s this logic that makes me think I’d never buy one single expensive car - I’m also poor, so there’s that.

Well that’s balls, and also not surprising that they’d try to bone the very people actually moving these vehicles for them with insane markups.

These people gotta be paying at least the dealer markup in cash, banks won’t write loans for more than the collateral value. Can’t blame the dealers for trying to cash in on the stupidity of the wealthy. Are people really that impatient?

That cartoon is an accurate look into the mindset of those in power, some just don’t realize how much luck was involved for them to end up as a big fish. Millions of people work hard and get nowhere for it.

I don’t get how anyone street parking in a big city drives anything other than a beater. Whatever nice car you have will just get fucked up by someone else in a beater who doesn’t care. Alternate parking, snow plows, other idiots....none of these bode well for a vehicle worth more than 5k.

Probably everyone that runs summer tires year round.

Oil companies say they’ve reached peak oil every decade for the last 50 years. Production capacity is based on price, when it becomes profitable to pump at more expensive locations, they start producing.

Interesting, considering they still owe the taxpayers 11.3 billion in bailout cash.

Clean truck, but dang, spend 100k just to look at it? This thing is clean on the outside, but after 40 years of no lubrication, all of the seals probably need to be replaced.

This would be way funnier if it wasn’t so accurate.
